With majestic Pikes Peak as a backdrop, Shawn Heidgen has no worries coming into the final turn. A nearly 3 lap cushion over 2nd place means the only hard work left is to decide between an IPA or a nice Summer Ale. Shawn was our voice of reason and the one whose lap times never varied by more than a minute or so for the ENTIRE race. (Even that time when we sent her out a lap early without a badge to swipe. Brain fart on the Crew Chief) INCONCEIVABLE! Congrats, Shawn, Karl and Thane! You guys ROCKED!
